AniCrew is an anime tracker and small social app for watching shows with friends. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it. It's short because the app is small and we don't sell your data.

Who runs AniCrew

What we collect

• Google account basics — when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. That's the only sign-in method, and we request only basic profile and email scopes.
• Your anime activity — the shows you track, watch status, episode progress, and scores you give.
• Social content you create — crews you join or create, crew chat messages, and comments you post in episode discussions.
• Linked accounts — if you import from AniList, we store the AniList username you connect so we can sync your list.

How we use it

Only to run the app: to keep your watch list, show it back to you across devices, display your name and avatar to crews you join, and deliver the messages and comments you post. We do not use your data for advertising.

Who can see it

• Content you post to a crew (messages, comments, tracked shows shared with the crew) is visible to other members of that crew.
• Your name and profile picture are visible to friends and crews you join.
• We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Where it's stored

Data is stored using Supabase (a hosted Postgres and authentication provider), which processes it on our behalf. Google handles sign-in. These providers have their own privacy policies.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@anicrew.app, and we'll remove it.

Children

AniCrew is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
